Expression of Interest in Commissioning a Sculpture
The successful inaugural Adelaide Hills International Sculpture Symposium in 2012 created 8 significant sculptures which are now permanently installed in various Hills Communities as part of the Hills Sculpture Trail.
Another 8 unique sculptures have been commissioned from the 2014 Symposium and will add to the Trail.
A third event is planned for 2016 and will again bring eight internationally acclaimed sculptors to SA to work together for 21 days. The 8 stone sculptures they create will complete the 24 sculptures for permanent installation on the Hills Sculpture Trail and will add significantly to the social, cultural and tourism infrastructure of the region.
The AHISS Board is seeking expressions of interest from communities, businesses, individuals and any other groups who may be interested in supporting or commissioning a sculpture in their community. The Board and Artistic Director will assess all expressions of interest and subsequently notify the applicants.
Please send your expression of interest to the Treasurer, Adelaide Hills International Sculpture Symposium Inc, PO Box 307 Balhannah 5242, or by email firstname.lastname@example.org
