Miguel Isla


Miguel resides in Tudela de Duero, Spain where he has had a high profile for many years. He is noted for large abstract geometric forms and responds readily to the surrounds and brief.

Since 1991 he has organized and attended many major international sculpture symposia all over the world, including in France, Italy, Denmark, Korea, Germany, Japan, Syria, China., Turkey, Spain and Australia.  In 1999 he won an award at the International Biennale of Sculpture at Montbrison, France and was also a finalist in the Francoise Bourdelle Award for Sculpture in Paris, France
