Sakari Peltola

Born in Finland 1972

Graduated from Kankaanpää Art School (Sculpture), Finland in 1988 and has worked since as a professional sculptor.

He has sculpted using wood, bronze and stone.  For the past 15 years the main material he has used has been stone, especially granite. Sakari is also a keen photographer.

He has had many solo and group exhibitions in Finland, and has large scale sculptures exhibited internationally in many public collections including urban environments, parks and natural landscapes. Besides exhibitions and other activities in Finland Sakari has participated in international sculpture symposiums in U.S.A., South-Korea, France, Bulgaria, Turkey, United Arab-Emirates and Latvia.
